90′ LTFC 0-0 WFC. David O’Sullivan volleys on the half turn. Deflected wide for a corner which comes to nothing. Three added minutes.

75′ LTFC 0-0 WFC. Blues and Longford exchange corner attempts. Longford come closest with Patrick McClean forced into a goal-line clearance.

72′ LTFC 0-0 WFC. Shane O’Connor and Derek Daly link up down the left but the latter’s effort sails harmlessly overly the bar.

62′ LTFC 0-0 WFC. Longford corner cleared and Kenny McEvoy races clear, beats two players before his effort on goal is blocked behind. From the resultant corner, Daly’s cross finds Garry Comerford but his header glances wide. Very open affair since McDaid’s red card. Both sides don’t want to settle for a draw here.

56′ Red Card. David McDaid sees red after a 50/50 challenge in midfield on Langtry. Mistimed and foot up according to the referee. Longford immediately threaten from the resultant FK but adjudged offside when a goal looked likely.

HT: LTFC 0-0 WFC – Blues controlling the first half but haven’t been able to capitalise on their chances created. McLoughlin yet to be tested while O’Sullivan saw his penalty effort on 34′ saved by Skinner in the Longford Town goal. Big 45′ ahead.

40’ LTFC 0-0 WFC. Shane O’Connor starting to get joy against Longford right-back Aidan Friel, winning another corner for the Blues. Daly’s delivery find Garry Comerford who nods across for Kenny Browne but the big defender’s header goes narrowly over the bar.

34′ LTFC 0-0 WFC – Blues striker Mark O’Sullivan sees his penalty superbly saved by Paul Skinner. The penalty award was questionable in the first place, Mulcahy’s heels clipped outside the box by Mark Langtry. Blues well on top before the penalty but the save has lifted the home support and looks to have brought Longford back into the game.

20′ LTFC 0-0 WFC – Blues starting to pose questions but only a Comerford strike from distance to show for it in the last ten minutes. McEvoy lively on the wing whilst Don Cowan is proving testing for Shane O’Connor and Derek Daly on the left for the Blues but so far both players coping well.

9′ LTFC 0-0 WFC – Shane O’Connor tees up David McDaid but the striker’s effort is palmed away by Skinner in the Longford goal. Even start to the game overall.
