Waterford FC’s pre-season fixture schedule is beginning to take shape with two new fixtures in place as well as confirmation regarding the kick off time and venue for the Munster Senior Cup clash away to Cork City.
The Blues will open their pre-season campaign in a repeat of last year’s historic opener at Graun Park, making the short trip to the sea-side to play Tramore AFC with a 7pm kick-off. Home fixtures at the RSC follow against Wexford and Cabinteely on consecutive Friday nights before facing Cork City away in the Munster Senior Cup on Saturday 27th January. This fixture will be played at O’Shea Park, home of Blarney United with a 2pm kick-off.
In addition to the above games, the Blues will travel to St. Colman’s Park to face Cobh Ramblers on Wednesday 31st January before concluding pre-season at home to Shelbourne at the RSC with a 7.30pm kick off.
With regards to the matches played at the RSC during pre-season, entry can be paid at that the gate and is set for €10 Adult and €5 for Under 14s.
