Finn Harps FC -v- Waterford FC
Saturday, 10th April 2021
Kick-Off: 18:00
Waterford will travel the length of the country for the second time in a week to face surprise league leaders Finn Harps in Donegal on Saturday night. The Blues will not mind heading North once again after their success last week in the Brandywell but they will be well aware of the threats this in-form Harps team have at their disposal.
Ollie Horgan’s men have made the rest of the league sit up and take notice after taking two high-profile scalps in the form of Bohemians and Dundalk in their opening two games. This was followed up with a dogged performance in a draw against Drogheda last weekend that showed this team can dig deep when needed. Finn Harps attackers Adam Foley and Karl O’Sullivan have been the goal-getters so far with Foley registering three in two games and O’Sullivan scoring a superb volley at the weekend.
With funding announced for the Harps new stadium in Stranolar, this could be one of the last times the blues make the familiar trip to Finn park in Ballybofey for a league match. let’s make it a good one.
Team News: Cian Kavanagh misses out through injury while Oscar Brennan is suspended for this game following a red card at Derry last Saturday.
