Another busy weekend with all six Waterford FC Academy teams in action across the weekend.
Our Under-14s made the long trip to Kerry but lost out by a single goal. More encourgement from the young Blues team with Tiernan O’Brien and Charlie Carroll on the scoresheet.
Goals from Zac O Sullivan and Fidel Pilulu helped the Under-17s to a 2-1 win at home to CK United at SETU Arena.
Our WU17s were on the road to face Wexford Youths in Ferrycarrig Park with the game finishing 0-0. The Blues created some good chances but settled for a point against our near neighbours.
The Under-15s were also on the road drawing 2-2 away to Wexford FC – goals on the day from Scott Collins and Aaron Cass.
The Waterford FC Under-19s face Treaty United in UL losing to a goal in a 2-1 defeat. The Blues goal coming from Dylan Warren.
Our WU19 continued their good form with a 3-0 win at home to Cobh Ramblers in SETU Arena – with goals from Charlotte Forsey, Mia van Groningen Dack and Lillie Holloway (with two assists from Niamh O’Keeffe).
