Tickets can be purchased here now.

The Blues hit the road again with a 400km round-trip to Kerry for our final away match of the regulation season, before the play-offs begin in ten days’ time.

The Blues were defeated on Tuesday by top of the table Galway United, but the game proved valuable in terms of minutes on the pitch. The returning Ronan Coughlan, Barry Baggley, Rowan McDonald and Harry Nevin all got important game time after spells out through injury – with Sam Perry on the scoresheet for his first league goal for the club in the 3-1 defeat.

On our last visit to Kerry, goals from Roland Idowu, Barry Baggley and four from Ronan Coughlan secured a 6-0 win, while the Blues have also won both games between the sides at the RSC this season.

Following Saturday’s match, Treaty United visit the RSC next Friday for the final home league game of the regulation season.

From The Dugout: Speaking ahead of Saturday’s match, head coach Keith Long said:

“We played well in spells throughout and created some good chances, but we have areas to keep working on with some important matches coming up.

“Harry Nevin, Rowan McDonald and Barry Baggley got lots of good game time which is vital with Ronan Coughlan getting 90 minutes after his recent return from injury too.

“Kerry is not an easy place to go for any team but we’ve recovered well from Tuesday’s match and prepared as we normally do ahead of the trip. It’s a chance to get more preparation word done so we’re fully focussed on an important few weeks for the club.

Team News: Serge Atakayi and Giles Phillips miss out through injury, while Romeo Akachukwu is on international duty with the Republic of Ireland U19s. Academy players Adam Queally, Ronan Mansfield and Anthony Adenopo join the squad for Saturday’s match.
