The 2024 SSE Airtricity Men’s Premier Division fixtures have been revealed for the upcoming season, as the Blues host Shelbourne FC at the RSC on Friday 16th February 2023 in our first game back in the top flight of Irish football.

Keith Long’s side make the journey to County Louth the week after who face Drogheda United in Weavers Park in our first away-game of the season, before we return on the road the following week to face Galway United in Eamonn Deacy Park on Friday 1st March.

A quick turnaround following the Galway game as we host St. Patrick’s Athletic at the RSC on Monday 4th March, before making the long journey to The Ryan McBride Brandywell Stadium on Friday 8th March to take on Derry City FC – for our first five games of the season.

We travel to Oriel Park to face Dundalk FC on Friday 15th March ahead of the first International Window, which gives the Blues a two-week gap from game-time after a busy opening six games in just over 4 weeks.

The Summer Break takes place 14th-27th June, with the Blues returning to action after the summer break with a trip away to Dundalk FC on the 28th June.

The FAI Cup 2nd Round – where all 20 League of Ireland teams enter the competition – is set to take place on the weekend of July 19th.

Waterford FC’s final three league games consist of Shelbourne (A) on Friday 18th October, Bohemians at home at the RSC for our final home game of the season on Friday 25th October, before completing our season with an away game against Shamrock Rovers in Tallaght Stadium on Friday 1st November.
