Waterford FC will travel cross-channel this coming January to sister club Fleetwood Town for a pre-season training camp.
With February’s league start against Shelbourne first up in the new league season, the first team will travel to England for a week-long training camp from January 14th.
As preparations continue ahead of the club’s return to the League of Ireland Premier Division following last season’s promotion, Keith Long’s side will play a Fleetwood Town XI in Fleetwood Town’s 5,000+ capacity Highbury Stadium on Tuesday, January 16, in a 7pm kick-off.
Along with this, Waterford FC will train throughout the week at Fleetwood Town’s state-of-the-art training facility at Poolfoot Farm.
