Waterford FC wish to acknowledge the fantastic support our loyal fans have shown us in our opening two home league games of the 2024 SSE Airtricity Men’s Premier Division. Along with this, the club are keen to provide supporters attending games at the RSC with our matchday policy guidelines for the 2024 season.

Although there has been fantastic noise & atmosphere created so far in the RSC in our first two-games, the club has unfortunately been fined for the use of pyrotechnics during our home games so far in 2024.

These fines affect various areas of the club that the finances could be used for, and we wish to remind fans that the club will be enforcing stadium bans to fans deemed in-use of pyrotechnics should it be deemed necessary.

We all have a collective responsibility of maintaining fan safety and is our no1 priority and the use of pyrotechnics severely threatens the safety and well-being of our supporters.

Our safety team have guidelines to follow on any given match night. Anything that our safety team deems as potentially putting others at risk will not be allowed in the stadium. Along with this, we would like to relay our food & drink policy within the RSC for our supporters:

  • Bottles will be allowed into the RSC, with no bottle caps allowed.
  • No cans of any sizes will be permitted inside the ground
  • Tea & Coffee may only be brought into the stadium in recyclable cups
  • All cold food /snacks must be unopened when entering the ground.
  • No hot foods will be permitted into the ground.

The above points are enforced for fan safety to allow traceability for goods sold, along with reducing any risk to fan safety and well-being. Everyone’s safety will always remain our priority.

The club are committed to provide high quality hot food at an affordable price, with a selection of hot foods available inside the RSC on match nights including:

  • Sausage Blaa’s
  • Loaded Nachos
  • Chicken Curry & Rice
  • Loaded Baked Potato
