Waterford FC

After falling to a narrow defeat to Sligo Rovers on Good Friday, the Blues will look to pick up points when Shamrock Rovers make the journey to the RSC on Easter Monday in their latest SSE Airtricity Men’s Premier Division clash.

After a strong start to life back in the Premier Division, Keith Long’s side occupy sixth-place with eight points from their opening seven games.

With four points picked up from their home fixtures so far, Waterford will look to add to that tally when the current Premier Division champions visit the RSC on Monday, in-front of what is set to be a packed-out RSC.

Shamrock Rovers

The Hoops travel down to the RSC this Friday on the back on a strong 3-1 victory over Dublin rivals Bohemians on Friday night, as goals from Johnny Kenny, Darragh Burns & Aaron Greene saw Stephen Bradley’s side pick up an important three points.

Rovers started the season with three draws in their opening four games. But with two wins in their last two games (1-0 away to Galway & 3-1 at home to Bohemians), the Hoops will come down to Waterford looking to make that three-on-the-bounce on Monday.

Waterford FC Team News:

Cameron Cresswell (Thigh) & Barry Baggley (Back) both miss out. Harvey Macadam is a doubt for the clash on Monday afternoon.
