The Blues are back on the road once more this Bank Holiday Monday making the journey to Tallaght Stadium to take on Shamrock Rovers FC in their SSE Airtricity Men’s Premier Division league game, and we have all the details you need ahead of travelling to the game.

GAME DETAILS

The Blues make the journey to the capital to take on Shamrock Rovers on Monday (6th May) in their latest SSE Airtricity Men’s Premier Division clash. Kick-off against the Hoops in Tallaght Stadium is at the earlier time of 5pm.

WHERE IS TALLAGHT STADIUM?

Tallaght Stadium is located in Tallaght on the outskirts of Dublin city. The stadium is conveniently located a few minutes from the M50, junction 11, and also just minutes away the Square Shopping Centre in Tallaght. The Eircode of Tallaght Stadium is D24 FNK6.

WHERE CAN I PARK DURING THE GAME?

Parking is available on matchdays at The Square Shopping Centre. Please note that there is a fee to park in The Square Shopping Centre and this fee currently is €1 for 0-3 hrs and €2 per hour after 3 hours. All fans travelling by car are urged to use this carpark. Please note that there is no street parking around the stadium and cars are liable to be towed or issued with parking fines.

IS THERE SOMEWHERE TO BUY FOOD DURING THE GAME?

Yes, there are catering outlets that are well stocked with food to suit all tastes . Hot food, tea, coffee and cold drinks are available to away fans.

Shamrock Rovers’ programme Hoops Scene, will also be available to buy in the away section.

HOW TO ENTER THE STADIUM?

Away fans are accommodated in Blocks K & M of the East Stand. Entry is via the turnstiles of Block 1 on the N81/The Square Shopping Centre side of the ground. Shamrock Rovers FC advises all away fans to use the blue bridge from the square shopping centre to access the away entrance this season. Stadium plan below shows the layout of the stadium.

AWAY FANS COACH PARKING AND DROP OFF POINT

Away coaches are asked to drop off at the X marked (Point A – Belgard Square South) on the attached map. This is the bus bay for Belgard Square South. Supporters should be dropped here. Away supporters can then proceed over the blue pedestrian footbridge above the N81 which will bring them directly adjacent to the Away Turnstile Entrance at Gate 1 for Tallaght Stadium.

To get to the bus bay at Belgard Square South, drivers can take the exit for the Plaza Hotel – marked with blue on the attached map, or alternatively they can take the exit off the N81 just past Woodies – marked with green on the map.

After coaches have dropped off, they will be directed to park at South Dublin County Council car park on Belgard Square North. This is circled at point B on the map. They can return to the same drop-off point after the game to collect their passengers.

AFTER THE FINAL WHISTLE

After the game has finished away fans should be aware that there may be a short hold on away fans leaving the ground. The decision as to whether or not this is necessary will be made by the matchday operations team and An Garda Síochana. If the decision is made to hold back away fans this will be communicated to the away section over the PA system well in advance of the end of the game. Please follow all directions of the stewards’ and An Garda Síochana.
