The Second Round draw for this years Sports Direct FAI Cup took place this afternoon at FAI HQ in Abbottstown, where the Blues have been drawn at home to face junior side Cockhill Celtic FC at the RSC.
Cockhill Celtic, who play in the Inishowen Football League, are based in Buncrana, co. Donegal. Cockhill Celtic were crowned the 2023/24 FAI Junior Cup champions, after defeating Gorey Rangers on penalties in this years decider.
Now facing the long journey to the RSC, the Donegal side will look to cause an upset against a Blues side who have enjoyed their FAI Cup runs in recent years.
The match will take place on the weekend ending Sunday 21st July, with kick-off time & date to be confirmed in due course.
