After defeating Kerry FC on Monday evening to secure the 2023/24 Munster Senior Cup, the Blues return to league action this coming Friday as they take on Dundalk FC in Oriel Park.
The Blues make the journey to Oriel Park to kick-off their second-half of their league campaign, having gone into the mid-season break in fourth-spot with 31 points from our opening 21 games.
Sam Sargeant made two important saves in the Blues’ last visit to Oriel Park, as both side had to settle for a share of the points in a nil-all draw back in March.
More recently, the Blues inflicted a strong defeat on the Lilywhites last month when an inspired Maleace Asamoah performance saw the Blues pick up all three-points in a 4-1 win – a game that saw Asamoah steal the spotlight with a stunning hat-trick.
Keith Long’s side will look to continue their unbeaten run against Dundalk this Friday, in their third meeting of the season.
