St. Patrick’s Athletic FC are the visitors to the RSC this Thursday as the Blues face the Inchicore outfit in our latest SSE Airtricity Men’s Premier Division league game, and we have all the information St. Pats fans need ahead of their trip down to the RSC.

Stadium Location

The Waterford Regional Sports Centre (RSC) is located in the Kilbarry area of Waterford City – Eircode: X91 AE79. It is situated approximately 3km away from Waterford train station & Waterford bus station.

Away Supporters are located in Blocks A + B of the New Stand in the RSC, and in the Terrace section
adjoining (YELLOW). The away supporter entrance is on the SuperValu side of the ground (RED).


There is strictly no parking inside the stadium for away supporters. Parking can be found in the surrounding areas of the stadium (highlighted in the image below). No matchday parking is allowed outside our Club Shop opposite the RSC beside Supermac’s.


Away supporter Buses will be requested to pull up in the SuperValu overflow car park next to the stadium. Passengers are to stay on board and Garda/Stewards will direct buses one-by-one to the away entrance turnstiles.

Buses will return to the SuperValu overflow car park until half-time. At half-time, the buses will be directed back to the away entrance gates and allowed enter the ground for post match pick up for supporters.

Additional information

  • Security: Bag checks and security screening may be conducted upon entry. Please review the
    stadiums prohibited items list to avoid any complications.
  • Flags & Banners: Flags & Banners are most welcome in the RSC. However, they are not
    allowed to cover any sponsorship signage. If they are found to be covering these sponsored
    signs, your SLO may be requested to remove the banner or find the owner to move it a
    designated area. Supporters are also asked not to use any tape to secure their banners to the railings – cable ties or string is preferred.
  • Facilities: Toilets and Hot food will be available in the away section.
