The Blues welcome Shamrock Rovers to the RSC this-coming Friday in our latest SSE Airtricity Men’s Premier Division clash, in what is expected to be a sold-out crowd at the RSC.
Stephen Bradley’s side make the journey to the RSC this Friday, as both sides go in search of their second win of the season against the opposition. The Hoops defeated the Blues 2-1 at the RSC at the beginning of March when Darragh Burns & Roberto Lopes scored either side of a Robbie McCourt free-kick to secure the points for the visitors.
The Blues made the journey to Tallaght Stadium in early May, and produced a stunning display to return home with all three-points with a 3-1 win over the reigning champions. A Leon Pohls own-goal put the Blues into the lead in the opening minutes, before Johnny Kenny levelled the scoring moments later. Dean McMenamy put Keith Long’s side back into the lead before the break, before a stunning Connor Parsons strike made sure of the points in the second-half.

Our popular Fan Zone will be open once again for our SSE Airtricity Men’s Premier Division clash against Shamrock Rovers this Friday.
Our popular Fan Zone re-opened in March, giving supporters the perfect place to grab a bite to eat, chat about the game with fellow supporters & test out your skills with our various inflatable challenges brought to you by Bounce Land.
Gates open at the earlier time of 6pm on home match nights at the RSC, to give fans plenty time to mingle in our Fan Zone.
Our Blues Kitchen in our Fan Zone will be open from 6pm, with a variety of hot foods available for fans to try out, including:
- Loaded Nachos
- Sausage Blaa’s
- Loaded Baked Potato
- Chicken Curry & Rice
- Plus much more!
Along it hot foods, the Blues Kitchen will also have a variety of confectionary options along with soft drinks to choose from.
