The Blues are home once again this Friday, as Keith Long’s side welcome Derry City FC to the RSC to kick-off our final round of fixtures of the 2024 SSE Airtricity Men’s Premier Division campaign.
The Blues host the Candystripes looking to pick up their first points of the season against Ruairdhri Higgins’ side. After falling to a two-nil defeat at the RSC back in April, the Blues were also defeated in their two trips to the Ryan McBride Brandywell Stadium this season.
After an impressive return to life in the Premier Division, Waterford FC sit in third place in the SSE Airtricity Men’s Premier Division table – just six points behind Friday’s opposition who remain in second-place in the league table.
