All six of our academy teams were in action over the weekend across the country. Check out how each team got on below.

SATURDAY

MU20: Wexford FC 0-0 Waterford FC

Our MU20’s were held to a scoreless draw in Ferrycarrig Park on Saturday in their LOI Academy MU20 Tier One tie. This result leaves the Blues sit in fifth place in their Tier One group after six games.

WU17: Wexford FC 2-5 Waterford FC

Our WU17 side maintained their unbeaten start to their LOI Academy WU17 Tier One group with a dominant 5-2 display against Wexford in Ferrycarrig Park.

Zara Corcoran & Issy Walsh both netted a double, along with a Keira Burke strike saw the Blues pick up another strong win against good opposition.

MU15: Cobh Ramblers 2-2 Waterford FC

Our MU15 side continued their strong start to life in their EA Sports LOI MU15 Academy League Phase Two group with a point on the road away to Cobh Ramblers at the Stephen Ireland Astro on Saturday.

Goals from Callum Slattery & Bobby Keohan secured a point for the Blues, who remain in second place in the group table with 19 points to their name from 9 games.

SUNDAY

WU19: Treaty United FC 0-1 Waterford FC

Our WU19s had an impressive win away to Munster rivals Treaty United on Sunday at Manor Fields, thanks to Cathranne Fitzgerald’s first-half effort.

This win maintains the Blues’ 100% start to their LOI Academy WU19 Tier Two campaign with two wins from their opening two games.

MU17: Shelbourne FC 3-1 Waterford FC

Our MU17 exited this years Mark Farren Cup at the quarter final stage, falling to defeat away to Shelbourne FC at the AUL Complex in Dublin.

Zak O’Sullivan put the Blues in the lead, before three unanswered goals from the Dublin outfit secured their place in the semi-final stage.

MU14: Cobh Ramblers FC 0-2 Waterford FC

Our MU14’s side picked up all three points away to Cobh Ramblers at St. Colman’s Park on Sunday afternoon, thanks to goals from Harry Farrell & Evan Lonergan.
