Keith Long’s men make the journey to Drumcondra on Friday looking to spoil this years Premier Division title race, with Shelbourne currently sitting top with three games to go.
The Blues will look to build on last week’s point picked up at home to Drogheda United – a point that secured Waterford’s place in next years Premier Division.
The Blues have had three narrowly-close games against the Reds so far this year, with both sides drawing 1-1 on the opening night of the season at the RSC, before Damien Duff’s side defeated the Blues by a single goal-to-nil in our following two meetings later on in the season.
The Blues sit in seventh place in the league table going into Friday’s fixture against Shelbourne, with 44 points to their name from 33 games.
SHELBOURNE FC
Shelbourne welcome the Blues to Tolka Park on Friday looking to maintain their position at the head of the Premier Division table, despite a run of disappointing form over recent weeks – winning just one of their last ten league games.
Buoyed by a packed out Tolka Park on Friday, Damien Duff’s men will look to turn that form around if they want to bring the Premier Division trophy back to Drumcondra for the first time in 18 years.

Keith Long has a full squad to choose from tomorrow evening in Tolka Park, with the exception of Kyle White who is continuing his recovery from his hamstring injury.
