Waterford FC are delighted to launch our Football & Social Responsibility (FSR) Strategy for 2023-2028.
Speaking on the launch of our FSR Strategy, Head of Community Development at Waterford FC Colin Power was delighted to launch our official FSR Strategy, commenting:
“We are delighted to launch our FSR Strategy here at Waterford FC to expand the work we do across our community. Over the course of the last 18 months, we have seen our community work expand & grow in all aspects, and by having this FSR Strategy to our name now will only allow us to develop as a club even further.”
The League of Ireland FSR Manager Derek O’Neill was also excited to see the launch of Waterford FC’s first FSR Strategy:
“Congratulations to Waterford FC on the launch of their Football & Social responsibility strategy. The club has now become a thriving hub of the community providing life changing opportunities for local people. The Blues have become more relevant to more people locally and this strategy sets out the club’s intentions to continue and grow this important area of work, setting an example for other clubs to become more than just a football team.”
