Waterford FC are excited to announce that Matt Craddock has been named our Men’s First-Team assistant manager for the 2025 League of Ireland season.

Craddock joins the Blues after spending the last number of years with EFL League One side Bolton Wanderers FC, where he spent time working closely with Bolton Head Coach Ian Evatt & his backroom team.
Matt initially joined Bolton as Head Coach of their B Team in 2021, along with working in the role of Head of Academy Coaching at the same period, before earning the passage to work with Wanderers first-team, where he was involved for 40 games, before departing the club in September of 2024.
Craddock joins the Blues ahead of 2025, where he will work alongside Head Coach Keith Long, coaches David Breen & Brian Murphy for the duration of our SSE Airtricity Men’s Premier Division campaign.
