Waterford are back on the road this Friday, as they make the 450-km journey to the Ryan McBride Brandywell Stadium in our third SSE Airtricity Men’s Premier Division clash of the season.
After kicking off the new campaign with an impressive 3-2 win away to Sligo Rovers, the Blues came up just short against reigning champions Shelbourne at the RSC last Friday, as they look to return to winning ways this weekend against a new-look Derry side.
Derry picked up their first points of the season themselves on Friday night, defeating Bohemian FC 1-0 thanks to a thunderous Michael Duffy free-kick in the opening period.
