Waterford FC vs Bohemian FC
SSE Airtricity Men’s Premier Division
Friday 20th June, 2025
The RSC, Waterford
7:45pm
WATERFORD FC
John Coleman’s Blues welcome the Phibsborough outfit to the south-east for our latest encounter on Friday evening, as Waterford look to return to winning ways after last weekend’s 1-0 defeat in Sligo.
Wilson Waweru’s first-half strike proved the difference between the sides at The Showgrounds last Saturday in our first game back after the mid-season break, as Sligo picked up just their fourth win of the season.
The Blues will look to build on our last meeting against Bohs, as goals either side of half-time from James Olayinka & Tommy Lonergan saw us pick up three important points in Dalymount Park in May.

BOHEMIAN FC
Alan Reynolds’ side make the journey down to the RSC on Friday evening looking to continue thier revival of form as they sit in second-place in the league table after 19 games played.
After a difficult start to the season for Bohs, a 4-2 win at home to Sligo Rovers FC back in April started off their run of form that has seen Bohemians pick up nine wins from their last 12 league games.
A 2-0 win away from home at Turners Cross last Friday against Cork City gave Reynolds side their first win after the mid-season break, as they look to make it two Munster wins in as many weeks tomorrow night.

TEAM NEWS
The Blues have no fresh injury concerns to contend with ahead of tomorrow evening’s clash at the RSC.
Rowan McDonald is back available for selection, having missed out last week’s trip to Sligo through suspension.
JOHN COLEMAN’S THOUGHTS
“There’s no room for error over the coming weeks, but we’re not scared of anybody. What we’ve got to do is find a way to win, and that’s something we’ve got to be mindful of.
I’ve been pleased in the main of how we’ve played, but I’ve been bitterly disappointed with the results – and that can’t continue.
We’ve got to keep going, get through this patch and don’t dwell on it. We’re performing well in all the games Danny & myself have been here for, dominating the ball & possession, and the players need to realise and how important every single point is that you’re playing for.”
