We’d like to wish Danielle the very best as she begins the next chapter of her career with the Irish Defence Forces. From all at the club, we extend our heartfelt thanks for everything she has given during her time in blue.
Women’s Manager Gary Hunt paid tribute to Danielle, highlighting her influence both on and off the pitch:
“I would like to wish Danielle the very best in the next stage of her career and I have no doubt she will make a huge success of it. From day one, Danielle has carried herself with the professionalism I knew she would and that has been infectious around the dressing room. She led the team as club captain through her actions on and off the pitch and will go down in the history books as the first captain of Waterford Women, something she can always look back on with immense pride.”
Danielle leaves behind an incredible legacy as the club’s first captain, a role she fulfilled with pride, leadership, and dedication. Her influence has been felt across the dressing room and throughout the club, setting standards that will continue to inspire our current women’s squad into the future.
