Waterford FC can provide the following update to our Men’s First-Team squad, as we enter an exciting new era at the RSC.
After securing our Premier Division status for 2026, and following new Head Coach Jon Daly’s review of the squad, Waterford FC are excited to announce the following players have signed on for 2026.
Captain Pádraig Amond will head into his third season as a Blue, with strike-partner Tommy Lonergan under contract at the RSC in 2026 after Tommy made his loan move permanent at the club in July.
Sam Glenfield also heads into his third season with the Club, with Matty Smith remaining a Blue after overcoming his long-term injury towards the end of the 2025 campaign.
2026 will also see Trae Coyle, Finlay Armstrong, Muhammadu Faal & Josh Miles head into their second season with the club having joined during the 2025 season.
Waterford FC Academy graduates Adam Coyne, Jesse Dempsey, Sean Keane & Ronan Mansfield will remain at the club for the upcoming campaign, having all played an important role in our 2025 season.

Waterford FC can confirm the departures of Ryan Burke, Grant Horton, Darragh Leahy, Ben McCormack, James Olayinka, Adam Queally, Kacper Radkowski, Jordan Rossiter & Brad Wade following the expiration of their contracts.

Following discussions with the players, Blues Head Coach Jon Daly is excited to refresh the squad ahead of the 2026 League of Ireland season, outlining his excitement saying:
