The Blues are on the road for the first time in 2026 this Friday, making the journey to Sullivan & Lambe Park to take on Kevin Doherty’s Drogheda United (7:45pm).

After picking up a point on the opening night of season with a 1-1 draw at home to Shelbourne, the Blues go in search of their first win of the new campaign against a Drogheda side who scored a 91st minute winner away to Galway United on Friday night.

Jago Godden’s strike into injury-time in Eamonn Deacy Park sees Drogheda as the early pace setters in the Premier Division alongside Derry City, as they welcome Jon Daly’s Waterford side to Sullivan & Lambe Park for their first home fixture this coming Friday.
