After falling to their first defeat on the season last weekend, the Girls in Blue will look to bounce back with another away trip this coming weekend, as they make the journey to Greenogue Park to take on Peamount United FC in their third game of the 2026 SSE Airtricity Women’s Premier Division campaign.
Gary Hunt’s side kicked-off their 2026 season with an impressive performance against Wexford FC at the RSC in a scoreless draw between the sides two weeks ago, in a game that the Blues put the visiting keeper under extreme pressure to keep Waterford out as both sides had to settle for a share of the points on the opening day.
Looking to build on this start, the Blues made the journey to the Markets Field over the weekend just gone to take on Treaty United in our first away game of the season. A goal in injury time of the first-half gave the hosts the lead at half-time, before two quick-fire goals inside the final 20 minutes of the contest gave Treaty maximum points on Saturday afternoon, as the Blues will look to return to winning ways away to Peamount United this weekend.

Waterford FC travel to Greenogue Park to take on Peamount United FC this Saturday (28th March) in a 5pm kick-off.
Tickets are available at the gate on match night, with parking also available at the ground for those travelling to the game.
