Waterford FC can confirm following approval from Waterford City Council that there will be a marquee next to the main stand for fans to meet up prior to kick-off.
With a capacity of 400 people – 200 under cover and 200 outside – the Club’s marquee will be opening its doors on Friday 9 September at 5pm for supporters to catch up and drink beer ahead of the match against Cork City.
After getting approval from the council, the Club has been working hard to construct and get everything in place for the game, with new owner Andy Pilley in town to watch his first hone match since taking over at The Blues.
Doors will open at 5pm, so get down early and take advantage of a select beer and enjoy the pre-match entertainment with friends and family – buy your match tickets online HERE.
The Club would like to thank Clem Jacob, Shaun Johnson, The Causeway Group, and Heineken for helping out at such short notice. We’d also like to thank Waterford City Council and the Garda for their assistance getting the licensing.
