Waterford FC is delighted to announce that Dean Larkin has signed a long-term deal with the club ahead of the 2023 First Division season.

The 19-year-old broke into the club’s first team last season making his full senior debut in a 2-1 win over Treaty United in the Markets Field.

The former Tramore AFC schoolboy has been with the club’s Academy since 2017, playing U15, U17 and U19 before graduating to the first team last season.

Speaking to WaterfordFC.ie, Larkin said:

“I’m delighted to sign my first contract with the Blues.

“I’ve been with the club since 2017 and have worked my way through the Academy into the first team and have loved it so far.

“The hard work has started, and I can’t wait to get going next season. I’m here to help the club achieve its goal of getting back in the Premier Division, where we belong.”
