Waterford FC are set to take on sister club Fleetwood United on Friday evening at the Sevens Stadium in Dubai in their final fixture of the pre-season tour.
The match against the UAE Second Division side will kick-off at 6:30pm local time (2:30pm GMT) and it will be head coach Danny Searle’s final chance to watch the lads before flying back to Dublin on Saturday afternoon.
This will also be the first time two of Andy Pilley’s club have met in a professional fixture, and it’s one that is very exciting.
The Blues played against The Green Herons on Tuesday night at The JA Sports Centre and came away 5-2 winners. They will be hoping for another good performance and result tonight against Fleetwood United.
