Waterford FC is delighted to announce a new partnership with Waterford Food Bank for the 2023 season.
In conjunction with the club, Waterford Food Bank will host a food collection at every home game in the RSC where they will be accepting donations of non-perishable foods such as cereals, rice, pasta, sauces, tea, coffee, soups, tinned goods , biscuits etc.
Waterford FC invite all supporters attending matches to support the team at Waterford Food Bank and the great work they do within our community by bringing along any of the above if they can. Even one item can make a difference.
Karen Glancy from Waterford Food Bank said: “We are very excited to have Waterford FC as a partner in the battle against food insecurity in our city. Together with the supporters, we can support local families in our community.”
Waterford FC’s Colin Power said: “Waterford FC is delighted to establish this new partnership with Waterford Food Bank and to help support them in the very important work they do within our community. This is the first of a number of new community-based initiatives we have planned to develop in the city and county throughout the 2023 season and beyond.
