The Blues are back on the road this Friday (3rd May), making the journey to the west to take on Sligo Rovers at the Showgrounds in their latest SSE Airtricity Men’s Premier Division clash.
Keith Long’s side make the journey to Sligo looking to return to winning ways after last Friday’s 2-0 defeat against Derry City at the RSC. Goals either side of half-time inflicted defeat on the Blues, in-front of over 2,200 spectators in attendance.
The Blues most recent meeting with the Bit o’Red came as recently as the end of March at the RSC, as a 51st-minute strike from Ellis Chapman for John Russell’s side was enough for the visitors to bring all three points back to the Showgrounds.
The Blues face a quick turnaround after Friday, with another trip on the road on Monday, as Tallaght Stadium awaits the Blues when Keith Long’s side line-up against the reigning champions in Shamrock Rovers.
