Tickets for our game against Shamrock Rovers in Tallaght Stadium next Monday (6th May) are on sale now for all Blues supporters travelling to the game.
In what will be the Blues’ first time in Tallaght since our most recent visit last November – which ended in promotion as the Blues defeated Cork City 2-1 after extra time in the Promotion/Relegation Play-Off Final.
After falling behind in the first-half, Connor Parsons levelled the scoring in stunning fashion finding the top-corner from 30-yards, before Ronan Coughlan’s penalty in extra-time proved the difference between the sides.
The Blues welcomed Rovers to the RSC at the beginning of April, where Stephen Bradley’s side emerged victorious by two-goals-to-one.
Played in-front of 3,600 supporters on a sun-soaked RSC, Darragh Burns opened the scoring for the Hoops before Robbie McCourt’s low free-kick levelled the scoring for Waterford. Roberto Lopes came off the bench for the Hoops to head home the winner twenty-minutes from time to send the Tallaght side back home with all three points.
The Blues will look to reverse that result against the Hoops next Monday, in what is an earlier 5pm kick-off at Tallaght Stadium
