The August Racing Festival at Tramore Races is a highlight for many on the sports, social and fashion calendars in the southeast – taking place from Thursday August 15th – 20th inclusive.
This year, Waterford Football Club in collaboration with Tramore Racecourse are hosting an evening of racing on Thursday August 15th. The event will see guests and commercial partners of Waterford FC attend the races where the club also sponsors a race on the night. Gates open at 3:30pm on the day, with the first of seven races setting off at 5:10pm.
Speaking on the initiative, Waterford FC commercial assistant Maeve Williams commented:
“Waterford Football Club are delighted to partner with Tramore Racecourse for our next commercial event. We have no doubt that this will be a very enjoyable evening for everyone involved. It’s a very exciting time for the club and this event is a great way for us to host our sponsors and commercial partners in the build up to the third round of the FAI Cup which takes place the following day against Athlone Town AFC at the RSC.”
Owen Byrne, General Manager of Tramore Racecourse, was delighted to partner with Waterford FC for this evening, outlining:
