FRIDAY
MU17: Cobh Ramblers FC 2-2 Waterford FC
Our MU17 side made the journey to Cork on Friday evening to take on Cobh Ramblers FC in their LOI Academy MU17 League fixture, as both sides had to settle for a share of the points in an entertaining two-all draw.
The Blues took the lead after half an hour thanks Fidel Pululu, before the hosts scored a quick-fire double to give them the lead at the break. Pululu netted his, and his sides, second 13 minutes into the second-half, as both sides had to be happy with a point each.
SATURDAY
MU15: Waterford FC 1-1 Bohemian FC (Bohemians win 3-1 on penalties)
Our MU15 side bowed out of the Michael Hayes Cup on Saturday afternoon at the hands of Bohemians, after coming out on the wrong side of a penalty shootout defeat.
Booby Keohan opened the scoring for the Blues in the 39th minute, before the visitors equalised on 70 minutes.
Nothing could separate the sides, as a penalty shootout followed – which the Dublin outfit came out on top in winning 3-1 in the shooutout.
MU20: Waterford FC 0-3 Bohemian FC
Our MU20’s suffered defeat to Bohemian FC at SETU Arena on Saturday afternoon, as the visitors picked up all three points with a three-goal margin in their LOI Academy MU20 League meeting.
SUNDAY
MU17: Waterford FC 2-1 Kerry FC
Our MU17 side picked up an important three points against Kerry FC at SETU Arena on Sunday afternoon in their LOI Academy MU17 League meeting.
The hosts opened the scoring after 21 minutes, before Aaron Cass levelled the scoring just moments later. Alex Sheehan scored the winner ten minutes from time to secure the points for the Blues.
MU14: Waterford FC 1-3 Bohemian FC
Our MU14’s suffered defeat to Bohemian FC at home on Sunday, falling to a three-one defeat in their LOI Academy MU14 League tie.
The visitors raced into a two-goal lead, before Waterford’s Temmy Gazal halved the deficit after 41 minutes. The visitors secured a third late on as the Blues pushed men forward to secure the points.
