Waterford FC are delighted to announce the appointment of Tony Kelly to the commercial team as a commercial executive.
Tony is no stranger to the RSC this season, being the main host to the ever popular hospitality lounge, you may also recognize Tony as the host of the Waterford FC Official Podcast.
With Tony’s passion for Waterford FC, it made complete sense to get him onboard within the commercial department with his wealth of knowledge of the local area not just with the people but with the business community as well, this appointment will help elevate and push our commercial team to a new level.
Head of Commercial at Waterford FC Adrian Hunt said on the appointment:
“We are happy that Tony has joined us at Waterford FC. His passion for the club has been evident since I first met him – he has been asking to do more and more and wanting to get involved with any projects in which he could add value, so when this position became available it made complete sense.
Tony Kelly was delighted to have come on board in his new role, mentioning:
“I’m delighted to get even more involved with the club, to continue my roles on the media side of things and to now move into this new position with the commercial team is hugely exciting.”
Waterford FC would also like to thank Maeve Williams for her efforts within the commercial team, as Maeve leaves to go back to college. The club would like to wish her well, and thank her for the huge effort she put in to making the commercial department & hospitality lounge what it is today.
