Waterford FC are delighted to announce a new three-year deal with Norris’s Bar, a deal that will see a full PA upgrade in the RSC in the coming weeks.

Just this year, Norris’s provided an upgraded segregation net for between the home and away end at the RSC, along with sponsoring our hugely successful Waterford FC Official Podcast – with our season finale with Jamie Pilley going live at 6pm tomorrow (Friday 6th September)!
Recently, Norris’s Bar were also the Match Partner for our Sports Direct Men’s FAI Cup tie against Athlone Town AFC, where Padraig Amond was selected as their Man of the Match.
Norris’s Bar provide the perfect HQ for all Blues fans pre & post games, as they come on board for our latest partnership together.
Included in the partnership will see a full upgrade of the current PA system in the RSC, to allow supporters in all sections of the ground to keep up to date with all in-game updates, line-ups, goal scorers, among much more!
Speaking on the announcement, Waterford FC’s General Manager Richy Walsh commented:
“We’re delighted to get this over the line, it’s something we’ve wanted to address for awhile and I’m sure it will be welcomed by the fans.
The upgrade will make a huge improvement in creating a better atmosphere on matchdays as well as communication with fans in the ground.
We look forward to the project being completed in the coming weeks and everyone at the club would like to thank Martin for his continued support.”
Martin Colbert of Norris’s Bar was delighted to come on board partnering with the Blues, saying:
“Regardless of results on the pitch, I’m very keen to see a much better fan experience at the RSC, and so are a lot of the people involved in the club. In fairness to the lads in the last year or two, you can see the improvement in the overall fan experience.
I think upgrading the PA is another part of that & will add to the overall fan experience – which is important regardless of results. People want to know when they’re coming here that they’re coming here as much for that fan experience as the game. A good PA system most definitely helps re-enforce a lot of the communication messages that need to be out there throughout a game.”
You can find Norris’s Bar at 73 Barrack St, Lisguggan Little. Waterford, X91 X4DP.
