Plenty of initiatives & games taking place throughout the week here at Waterford Football Club. Here’s everything you need to know for the week ahead:

TUESDAY

ASD Football Friends

Our weekly ASD Football Friends training session takes place once again this Tuesday (10th September) in Ozier Park. With the programme open to everyone aged 6-16 on the autism spectrum, why not join us for an hour of fun & enjoyment with plenty of other Blues supporters.

To get involved, contact Waterford FC’s Head of Community Development Colin Power at community@waterfordfc.ie.

THURSDAY

Walking Football

Our Walking Football group continues this Thursday in Butler Community Centre (12th September) from 11am until 12pm.

With refreshments afterwards kindly donated by the Blues Supporters Club, why not join the group for an hour of (competitive!) football alongside likeminded Blues supporters.

Our Walking Football group is open to everyone aged over 50. To find out more or to get involved, you can contact Colin Power at community@waterfordfc.ie.

Pre-Match Media (Dundalk FC – H)

Pre-match build up to Friday’s SSE Airtricity Men’s Premier Division game at home to Dundalk FC will be spread across all our social media channels this Thursday.

Interviews with some of our first-team players, along with quotes & team news from Keith Long will get the Blues fans in the perfect mood ahead of the game on Friday evening.

FRIDAY

First-Team Fixture: Waterford FC vs Dundalk FC

The Blues welcome Dundalk FC to the RSC this Friday, in our fourth meeting between the sides this season. The Blues have had the upper hand in our meetings with the Lilywhites so far this year, picking up seven points from three games against Jon Daly’s side.

Kick-off against Dundalk at the RSC on Friday is at 7:45pm, with tickets on sale HERE.

SATURDAY

Academy Fixture – MU15

Our MU15 side are our sole academy side in action on Saturday, as they welcome Bohemian FC to SETU Arena for their LOI Academy MU15 League tie. The Blues currently sit second in the league table, with Bohemians the only side sitting ahead of them.

Kick-off is at 2pm on Saturday.

SUNDAY

Academy Fixtures – WU19 & MU17

Our WU19 side make the journey to the east coast to take on Bray Wanderers FC this Sunday in their LOI Academy WU19 league meeting, in a 3pm kick-off.

Our MU17’s are also on the road, making the journey to Charlville to take on Limerick FC in their LOI Academy MU17 league clash – with kick-off set for 2pm.

Best of luck to all our academy sides in action this weekend!
