Earlier this week, Waterford FC first-team players Ryan Burke, Dean McMenamy & Sam Sargeant visited our neighbours in Hibernian FC to give their U12 & U13 sides their very own personal training sessions.

Off the back of the Blues’ draw at home to Drogheda United FC last weekend, the Blues trio met up with the U12 & U13 teams of Hibernian FC on Monday evening to teach them all they know!

Sam Sargeant made time to give their keepers specific goalkeeper training, while our duo of Ryan Burke & Dean McMenamy taught the Hibernian FC teams their passing & shooting techniques!

Speaking on the evening with Hibernian FC, Waterford FC’s Head of Community Development Colin Power commented:

“A really enjoyable hour spent at Hibernian FC on Monday night, who gave myself & the players a very warm welcome! Thanks to Lili & Brian for looking after us & hopefully all the players enjoyed it. Sam, Ryan & Dean really enjoyed their time, and we hope the kids enjoyed themselves.

We wish Hibernian FC the best of luck for the remainder of their season ahead”
