The Blues finish off their 2024 campaign with a trip to Tallaght Stadium to take on Shamrock Rovers FC this Friday in their final game of the season.

After picking up a point at home to Bohemian FC last Friday in our final home league game of the year, Keith Long’s men will make the trip to Tallaght looking to play a vital role in the destination of where this year’s SSE Airtricity Men’s Premier Division trophy will end up.

Sam Glenfield fired home a 92nd-minute equaliser to share the points last Friday, after James Clarke looked to have won the game for the visitors with 15 minutes remaining.

The Blues now make the journey to Tallaght on Friday to round off their 2024 season – a venue that Waterford have emerged victorious in our last two visits to.

Waterford produced a stunning three-one display to see off Rovers in Tallaght back in May, before they came from behind to defeat Cork City FC in last years Promotion/Relegation Final last November to earn promotion back to the Premier Division.
