The fixtures of the 2025 League of Ireland season have been revealed, as Waterford FC will kick off our 2025 SSE Airtricity Men’s Premier Division campaign away to Sligo Rovers at the Showgrounds on Saturday 15th February (7:45pm).
The Blues will host Champions Shelbourne at the RSC for our first home game of the season on 21st February, before travelling to the Ryan McBride Brandywell Stadium to take on Derry City in our third game of the season (28th February).
Our first Monday game of the year takes place in round 4, as we welcome newly-promoted Cork City to the RSC for our first Munster Derby of the season (3rd March), before hosting Bohemians at home to round off our first 5 fixtures on 7th March.
Our first Bank Holiday clash of the year is away to Cork City at Turners Cross 21st April, in an earlier kick-off of 5pm, with the Blues also making the journey to Tolka Park on Monday 5th May for a 5pm Bank Holiday kick-off.
The 2025 mid-season break takes place after our round 18 clash at home to Drogheda United (30th May), before kicking off the second-half of our season away to Sligo Rovers once again on 14th June.
Our final month of the season sees Keith Long’s side at home in three of their four games, with Drogheda United (3rd October) & Derry City (17th October) both travelling to face to the Blues.
The Blues will conclude their season at home to Galway United on Saturday 1st November, with our final away game coming the week prior away to St. Patrick’s Athletic in Richmond Park (24th October).
