The Blues head into Monday’s game fresh from Friday night’s impressive 2-1 win away to Derry City FC at the Ryan McBride Brandywell Stadium. First-half goals from Kyle White & Kacper Radkowski saw the Blues overcome a new-look Derry City side to earn our second away win of the 2025 season.
After an opening night win at The Showgrounds against Sligo Rovers to add to our three points from Friday night, the Blues now sit in second position in the league table heaidng into tomorrow night’s Munster Derby, against a Cork side who are fresh off from picking up their first win of the new campaign on Friday evening.

Cork City make the trip to the RSC on Friday off the back off their first win of the campaign on Friday evening, coming from behind to defeat Bohemian FC at Turners Cross in front of over 5,000 spectators.
After falling behind through a Keith Buckley effort, former Blue Seani Maguire levelled proceedings just before half-time, with Ruairi Keating finding the winner seven minutes from time.
City are unbeaten in their return to the Premier Division with four points to their name from two games, as they make the journey to the RSC on Monday night for their first away-game of the season.
