SSE Airtricity Men’s Premier Division
Friday 7th March 2025

WATERFORD FC
The Blues head into Friday’s game at the top of the Premier Division table following our two-one win against Cork City FC at the RSC on Monday night. Kyle White’s second goal in as many games secured the points for the Blues infront of another packed out RSC Stadium.
Alex Nolan gave the Leesiders the lead early on, before Padraig Amond levelled proceedings shortly after half-time, before White’s late 87th minute winner.
The Blues have earned nine points from their opening four games, picking up three wins out of four, as they look to add to that tally on Friday night against the Dublin outfit.

BOHEMIAN FC
The visitors head into Friday’s clash looking to pick up just their second win of the season. After an opening-weekend 1-0 win at the Aviva Stadium over rivals Shamrock Rovers FC, Alan Reynolds side have followed this win up with three narrow losses – most recently at home to Drogheda United FC on Monday night.
The Blues picked up 10 points against the Dalymount Park side in 2024, as Bohemians will look to end that run of form on Friday night.

TEAM NEWS
No fresh injury concerns for Keith Long going into Friday’s game against Bohemians. Matty Smith & Trae Coyle are continuing their recovery fron their respective injuries.
KEITH LONG’S THOUGHTS
“The Blues support really enjoy watching the team perform, being able to identify with them on the pitch, and can see just how much effort the players are putting in working hard for each-other. When big clubs come to Waterford, I think it brings out the best in our supporters & generates that atmosphere around the ground that we need. The supporters have been brilliant so far both home & away this year, and we hope to have a big crowd tomorrow night at the RSC”.
