In September of 2024, we asked you, the fans, for feedback on our current crest, and what you would like to see in our future crest, as we aim to revolutionise Waterford Football Club & our identity.
The club has been working extremely hard in the background shaping our identity, whilst keeping our fans connected with any updates throughout this process.
One of the first areas the Fleetwood Group looked at when taking over our club was the dislike towards the current crest that came in in 2017 based on feedback from supporters. We have always endeavoured to bring back an identity that the fans feel that represents the club with pride.
Club Owner Jamie Pilley made it known to supporters whilst on our Official Waterford FC Podcast last year that a new crest was something the club were looking into, along with fans getting an update on our progress at our Fans Forum that was held in Bank Lane earlier this year.
Following many drafts and revisions, we have now been presented with three possible directions of what our new crest could look like, but as a club, we are committed to listening to our supporters for their feedback.
Below, you will see three possible looks of our Waterford FC crest, which have been drafted & designed based on your initial feedback to the club last September.

Now is your final chance to have your word on how you would like our crest to look before the Club & Owner makes a decision on our new visual identity.
Waterford FC Season Ticket Holders are encouraged to fill out the online survey they have been sent to their email, where your opinion will give the club a better understanding on the current proposals, and how we can make the fans feel more connected to our crest.
This survey will be open for two-weeks for Season Ticket Holders to have their say, with the survey closing on Wednesday 30th April.
Please note: This survey can also completed in-store in our club shop but you must present your season ticket with you at the time.
We look forward to your feedback, Blues!
