Waterford FC are delighted to announce the signing of talented striker Fiana Bradley, who joins the club from Cork City FC.

A former Republic of Ireland WU16 and WU17 international, and one of the country’s top emerging forwards, Bradley returns to Waterford after previously starring for the club’s WU19 side. At Cork City, she established herself as a key player, finishing as the team’s top goalscorer during the 2023/2024 campaign with five goals in 23 league and cup appearances.

Now 18 years old, Bradley made her senior debut for Cork City in August 2022 at just 15 years old. Since then, she has amassed over 50 senior appearances in the Women’s Premier Division and quickly established herself as a key player.

Before stepping into the senior game, she dominated at academy level—scoring over 30 goals in each of her first two seasons in the League of Ireland Academy.

Her return to Waterford FC marks an exciting new chapter, reuniting her with familiar faces from her time in the club’s WU19 side. The dynamic attacker joins at the mid-season mark and is expected to make an immediate impact with her pace, creativity, and eye for goal as the team looks to build momentum for the remainder of the campaign.

After securing the services of Fiana Bradley for the second-half of 2025, Blues Head Coach Gary Hunt was delighted to welcome Fiana back to the club, commenting:

“I’m delighted to welcome Fiana to the club and I’m excited to work with her and help her realise her potential within the game. At such a young age to have already featured in 4 senior campaigns while also spending half of last season playing in our Academy is impressive and speaks volumes of her ability as a player.

Only more recently Fiana showed what she can do when we hosted Cork in the RSC, scoring and creating chances so I was delighted when the opportunity to speak to her came about. Like any good player, if they become available for whatever reason then you don’t waste time in making sure they understand the part they could play in this group and I’m sure Fiana appreciated that.

As with any young player there is always plenty to improve upon but she is mature to understand this and I know in time her commitment to the game will pay off and I am looking forward to seeing what impact she can make with us for the remainder of the season and hopefully beyond.”

Fiana was delighted to return to the Blues, mentioning:

“Every new beginning comes from some other beginning’s end. Looking forward to working with all the Waterford FC Women’s team and staff”.

Fiana will wear the number 11 shirt for the Blues, as she goes straight into contention for tonight’s SSE Airtricity Women’s Premier Division clash against Shamrock Rovers FC in Tallaght Stadium.

Welcome to Waterford, Fiana!
