Waterford FC is delighted to confirm the signing of Charles Ondo from English Championship side Huddersfield Town.
The versatile Spaniard arrives at The Blues on loan ahead of the big kick-off against Wexford on Friday evening.
Ondo, 19, can play both at centre back and in attack and arrives at the RSC having played twice in the English Championship this season for Huddersfield Town.
Technical Director, Jonathan Walters, said: “We are delighted to sign Charles, and that a Championship side is trusting us with one of their young talents on loan.
“We aim to ensure Waterford FC is a club at which top clubs around Europe can trust to send over their better young players, knowing they will be developed and improved, while helping the Blues to our ultimate aims for the coming season.
“Charles is a player who can play in a number of positions and we are confident he will add real quality to the group.”
