Waterford FC welcome Sligo Rovers to the RSC this Saturday in SSE Airtricity League Action.
The Blues will be looking to return to winning ways on Saturday evening after last Mondays defeat to Shamrock Rovers.
The Blues move to fourth place on 17 points, level with Dundalk, with Sligo Rovers in fifth place – a point behind.
Sligo come into this weekends game after a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Bohemians last weekend.
The sides last met back in August, when a late Sligo freekick saw Rovers claim all three points..
Managers View: Speaking to WaterfordFC.ie ahead of Monday’s match against Shamrock Rovers, first-team coach Fran Rockett said:
“This is a huge game for both sides. I don’t think either of us would be satisfied with a draw. The lads have bounced back very quickly after the defeat to Rovers on Monday but it’s been a long time since then with how things are moving so we’re really up for this.”
Team News: Sam Bone continues to miss the game due to a hamstring injury. Daryl Murphy remains a doubt.
