WATERFORD FC
The Blues welcome DLR Waves FC to the RSC for our first-ever meeting between the sides tomorrow afternoon, in the Blues latest SSE Airtricity Women’s Premier Division game of the 2025 season.
After picking up our first-ever win in our history against Sligo Rovers FC last weekend 2-0, the Blues will look to continue that run of form tomorrow against DLR Waves.
Olivia Shannon’s double for the side gave us as our first three points of the year last week, as we sit in ninth position going into tomorrow’s game at the RSC.

DLR WAVES FC
The visitors travel down to the RSC on Saturday looking to pick up their first point of the season after a winless start to the season.
Defeats to Galway United, Treaty United & most recently Shelbourne see the Dublin outfit sit at the foot of the table going into Saturday’s game.

TEAM NEWS
No fresh injury concerns for Gary Hunt ahead of this visit of DLR Waves to the RSC on Saturday.
GARY HUNT’S THOUGHTS
“We are looking forward to getting back home again and seeing the great support that got behind us 2 weeks ago in the RSC. Following last week’s result there has been a really good atmosphere around the group.
The players needed no reminding of how important it was to switch our focus on the task at hand and their application this week has been to the standard we would expect.
This will be another tough game for us and if we are to take anything from it we will need to make sure we all continue the good work that’s been done so far. DLR have had some tough games this season and I am sure they will see this as an opportunity to kick start their season so it will be important for us to stick together and hopefully we can come out with something to show for our efforts.”
