TUESDAY – Leahy Pens a New Deal!

On Tuesday evening, Darragh Leahy became the latest Blue to commit his future to the club by signing a new contract at the RSC.

Leahy had an impressive first year in Blue, becoming a fans favourite in the heart of the Blues defence with his ball playing quality along with his consistent defensive duties.

The Blues number 15 made 36 appearances across the course of 2024, and will look to add to that with Keith Long’s side next season!

WEDNESDAY- McCormack Remains a Blue For 2025!

Wednesday morning saw the news break of Ben McCormack’s re-signing for the 2025 season.

Ben, who was in his first season with the Blues over the last 12 months, made 33 appearances in all competitions for Keith Long’s side – netting four times – as he helped the Blues to a 7th-place finish in the league table.

WEDNESDAY – Boyle Becomes a Blue!

The club announced the signing of Andy Boyle on Wednesday afternoon, as Boyle became the Blues’ first new signing of the year.

After a four-and-a-half year spell with Dundalk FC, the 33 year-old makes the move to the RSC for 2025.

With over 400 appearances in the League of Ireland alone throughout his career, the former Irish international is welcome addition to the club, as we build on from 2024.

THURSDAY – McMenamy Becomes The Latest Blue to Commit to the Blues

We were delighted to announce on Thursday that our 2024 Young Player of the Year Dean McMenamy became the latest player to pen a new deal at the club for 2025.

After an impressive second-season with the club where he notched up 32 appearances in all competitions, McMenamy will look to play a big part in the Blues’ success in 2025.

THURSDAY – Former Arsenal Midfielder Olayinka Joins The Blues!

We were delighted to announce our second signing of the window on Thursday afternoon, after James Olayinka signed on the dotted line to become a Blue!

After coming up through the Gunners academy where he also spent time in & around their first-team – even netting in a pre-season game for the Arsenal first-team – Olayinka makes the move to the RSC off the back of two successful years with Cheltenham Town in League One.

An exciting box-to-box midfilder with an abundance of energy, we look forward to seeing James get the RSC crowd of their feet in 2025!

FRIDAY – WhiteBox Group Becomes Official Main Partner for 2025

Our latest announcement of the week as Waterford FC announce WhiteBox Group as our official main partner of the club for the upcoming League of Ireland season.
