McMullan Called Up To Northern Irish Senior Men’s Team

Blues number one Stephen McMullan has been called up to the Northern Ireland Senior Men’s Squad for their upcoming FIFA World Cup Qualifers away to Luxembourg & Germany next month.

An almost ever-present in the Blues net this season, McMullan has earned his latest Senior Men’s call-up for Northern Ireland – having been called up to their most recent camp in June where he joined the squad ahead of their international friendly against Iceland in Belfast where he was included on the substitutes bench.

Stephen will joined up with the Northern Irish squad after this Friday’s SSE Airtricity Men’s Premier Division clash in Turners Cross against Cork City FC, where they will then face Luxembourg in Gasperich on Thursday 4th September before then heading to Cologne to take on four-time World Champions Germany at the Rhein-Energie-Stadium.

McMullan has already amassed 9 underage international caps for his country, from U18 level through to U21, as he looks to add a senior cap to his name for the first time.

Best of luck, Stevie!
